Cannot recommend Frontier K9 enough. Having gone into dog ownership slightly naive it felt like we made all the mistakes we could have. We were recommended Raj and only wish we had found him sooner. Raj has been patient, knowledgeable and an excellent mentor in helping us with our reactive German shepherd. We go to both group classes and 1:1 classes which gives us a great mixture of working with other dogs around and then focusing in on areas of improvement. The change we have seen in our dog over the months since finding Raj is like night and day . Cannot thank Raj enough and really looking forward to seeing further improvements as we work through each challenge.

If you have found Frontier k9 then you have found the best dog trainer there is and need search no more. I have been working my male Dobermann Dexter, with Raj and his lovely wife Tara for nearly 2 years and the progress in both my dog and myself is outstanding. Raj is so patient and knowledgable. Training is such fun whether obedience or protection,1-1’s or group classes.its all great and I’ve met some lovely people. Dexter has also just had a weeks stay with Raj and tara- I wouldn’t leave him with anyone else! I can go away confident he is superbly taken care of and he has his own holiday as part of their family. Highly recommend Frontier k9-they are friends now as much as the best trainers.

I reached out to Raj after having a bad experience with numerous trainers and it’s the best decision I made! From the beginning I knew I wanted to do personal protection with my boy and Raj did not disappoint. We went back to the basics once we started our training journey with the Frontier family and due to that Ghost has become his best self. Raj has helped so much to build his confidence and bitework. Ghost was reactive towards other dogs and just by going to group classes, that has changed so so much. He has made several friends since we begin. We still have a very long journey ahead but we are in the right hands and I’m looking forward to learn from the best.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Raj for how professional, knowledgeable and helpful he has been since starting training with him with my Doberman Dobby.

We have been involved in 1-1. Group classes and have recently used the board and train service that Raj provides as well. We were sent constant updates with videos and pictures of Raj training Dobby and how he was getting on and what we needed to work on when he came back to us which was amazing.

The group sessions we have attended for the last 5 months have turned my Dobby into an amazing dog to be around and have stopped me worrying about taking him out on walks as I can now trust him off lead around other dogs and he hasn’t reacted in months !

Highly recommend to anybody that has a dog any size that are looking for a trainer that knows what he’s talking about !

Since joining obedience sessions with Frontier K9 Services, I have become more confident in training with my Doberman Paisley. Raj has provided a safe and friendly space where Paisley and I have been able to learn. Raj is patient and offers great advice and continues to work with us at our own pace. Paisley has high energy levels, and therefore can be jumping all over the place. In recall she is now coming back to me and sitting at my feet. She focuses on me whilst other dogs are nearby. Her heel work is improving. This is an enjoyable journey to be on and both Paisley and I enjoy every session. Being able to attend group sessions and 1:1’s have been really helpful! We recently boarded our dog with Frontier K9 for two weeks while we were on holiday, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they provided outstanding care, communication, and training.

We received frequent updates, videos, and social media stories showing what our dog had been up to each day. This gave us complete peace of mind while we were away, and it was wonderful to see her so relaxed, engaged, and confident.

They even took her along to a dog training camp for a day, giving her an extra enriching experience. Before the stay, we shared some concerns about her reactivity due to previous experiences, and they were incredibly understanding. They worked through her issues with patience and expertise, keeping us updated with videos of her calmly interacting around their own dogs — something we were thrilled to see.

When we returned, they provided helpful advice on what we could do differently at home to continue setting her up for success. It’s clear they genuinely care about both the dog and the owner.

Our dog also began refusing her usual food while we were away, and instead of worrying us, they handled the situation perfectly. They were able to adjust her meals to suit her dietary needs and even educated us on better nutritional options for her long-term health.

She came home happy, fulfilled, and noticeably more confident after having such a fun, enriching break filled with training and positive experiences.

We are incredibly grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for trustworthy, knowledgeable, and compassionate dog care and training!

A huge thank you to raj and Tara for all your support over the last 3 months.

We re homed a 2 year old Doberman, and after having her a few weeks we needed some helped, I had previously seen raj training a male Doberman so I reached out and haven’t looked back since!

We have had 1:1s, attended a group class and Clara also had an amazing two night stay and train with Tara and Raj. It’s amazing to see the change in 3 months and can’t wait to continue learning and training.

The 1:1s are so helpful as it’s mainly me that needs the training the support the patience from both Tara and Raj is amazing. I also felt so at ease when they had Clara to stay as I knew she was in the best hands, I personally wanted updates so it was great to see how she was getting on, especially with her outs as that hasn’t been easy!

We have had all sorts of help with training, recall, heal, down, outs, bite work, and help around other dogs as Clara had a bad experience in the past, everything we work on I see an instant change it really does show it’s the owners not the dog and sometimes you just need to be shown what to do!

We have had support with making sure Clara is on the right amount of food and also changing her food as we were struggling with weight gain, so it hasn’t just been training we truly are so grateful for all your help!

Would really recommend Frontier k9, both Tara and Raj are incredible at what they do, it’s so nice to have them along our journey and we are excited to see what the future holds!

Just over a year ago we were lucky enough to rehome a year-old Doberman x Beauceron. She was reactive, not very socialised, very wary of people and other dogs, had unreliable recall and pulled like a train on the lead, we were used to owning whippets so she was a big learning curve. 

We met Raj at a demonstration day and were blown away at the levels of skill and dog handling that were possible. We have now been with Frontier K9 for the last year, and she is a transformed dog, as are we as owners.

Raj and Tara have a private, fully equipped, training field, with plenty of off road parking. Raj has a balanced style of training but not just for the dog, he trains us as owner/handlers too, with proper interactive sessions for both clients and their dogs.

We have the opportunity to try out a lot of different training equipment, tailoring them to our individual dogs, which has really helped maximise our training.

We realised we had a lot to learn, not only about the basics of dog handling, but in having such a guarding and challenging dog in our lives, in general. We also enjoy the socialisation walks in the forest and beach that they hold, those group exercises have been very helpful.

We have found both Raj and Tara to be very friendly and fun, importantly there is no judgements with you or your dog. They are patient and generous with their time, knowledgeable and helpful with every issue we've asked for advice and help on.

I cannot recommend Raj and Tara at Frontier K9 enough. Before finding them, I had tried multiple trainers for my dog, Rome, and nothing ever made a real difference. He was difficult to handle on walks, and struggling with boundaries-things I genuinely thought we'd just have to live with.

From the very first session at Frontier K9, I knew we were in the right hands. Their knowledge, patience, and structure are on a completely different level.
They didn't just teach Rome-they taught me how to communicate with him properly, and build confidence in both of us.

The change in Rome has been nothing short of incredible.
He now walks beautifully without pulling, listens to commands, and most importantly, he finally seems settled and confident. Everyday things that once felt stressful, like taking him out to busy places, are now enjoyable. He is happier, more balanced, and genuinely thriving.

Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for the dogs they work with is unmatched. Rome is a completely different dog, and I'm so grateful for the progress we've made under their guidance

Our 18mth old Cane Corso Ivy recently went on a 5 day board and train while we went on holiday with Raj at K9 Frontier. I can't thank Raj enough for giving us peace of mind while we were away. Ivy was so well looked after and Raj worked on some training requests we had which included impulse control and socialisation skills around other dogs as she can be quite dominant, all of our requests were met and Ivy made huge improvements in such a short amount of time! Raj is highly experienced with all breeds and has given us some relief in that we can now go on holiday knowing that Ivy is in good hands! I highly recommend K9 frontier services for all your dog training needs and also the group obedience classes!
